She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Rowe and Leona Rowe (Kimball); her son Jeff Lau; and her siblings, Linda Frericks and Ed Rowe.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Lau of Des Moines, Denis Monthy of Des Moines and Dahn Kennedy (Shaun) of Traer; and her siblings, Karen Staker of Newton and Gary Rowe (Ronni) of Des Moines. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
