It is with sadness that the passing of Sandra Weik of Des Moines, Iowa is shared. Sandra, born on January 24, 1945 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa, passed away on August 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Weik and Verna Weik (Rierson); and her great grandchild Bennett Montelongo. She is survived by: her husband Ben Vaughan; her sons, Troy Vaughan (Chelle), Todd Vaughan and Terry Vaughan (Valerie); her grandchildren, Abbie Montelongo (Alex), Tyler Vaughan and TJ Vaughan; her great grandchild Vincent Montelongo; and her siblings, Bill Weik and Sybil Groeneweg (John). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
Sandi passed peacefully from complications of Alzheimer's on August 10, 2026, surrounded by her family.
