Sayavong Mila Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 60, Sayavong Mila (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sayavong Mila to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent Soutchay Khothisane; and his sister-in-law Ouane Baccam. He is survived by: his wife Bounheua Mila; his sons, Michael and Matthew Mila; and his siblings, Phitsamai Simougkhot (Mouane), Saya Mila (Lasamy), Sayakham Mila (Vong) and Megan Phommahaxay (Chai). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Sayavong.
