We are sad to announce that, on October 9, 2023, at the age of 83, Sharon Kay Vasquez (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferme Allen (LaBounty) and Russell Allen; her husband Salvador Vasquez Jr.; her daughter Elayn; and her brothers, Richard and Robert Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Vasquez of Des Moines, Paul Vasquez of Wichita, Kansas and Leigh Ellen Russell (Paul) of Ankeny, Iowa; her grandchildren, Raymond Vasquez (Katie) of Irvine, Joseph Vasquez of Waukee, Michael Russell of Ankeny and Emily Noble (Jason) of Des Moines, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Evie and Benjamin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to her family. The family will be donating all contributions to Azria Health Park Place Activities Department, in loving memory of Sharon.
