She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Anderson and Myrtle Anderson (Beauvais); her spouse Ingvert Appel; and her siblings-in-law, Henry, Hans, Einer, Paul Appel, Gwenna Appel and Zona Appel.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Taggart (Tom) of Waukee, IA, Steve Appel (Deanna) of Blair, NE and Rich Appel (Tammy) of Horicon, WI.; her grandchildren, Cole Taggart (Anna), Chase Taggart (Trisha), Marissa Appel (Christian Jewett), Dane Appel (Bailie), Jordan Appel and Stephanie Appel; her great grandchildren, Reese, Bennett, Finn Taggart, Paxton, Kenzie Taggart and Crew Appel; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey Appel and Bette Appel. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
