It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Norene Sullivan of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheila Norene Sullivan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Belle Hughes (Yazel); and her husband Vincent E. Sullivan. She is survived by: her father Wayne W. Hughes (Shirley) of Des Moines, Iowa; her sister Cindy Thiel (Doug) of Garden Grove, Iowa; her nephew Michael Thiel (Jennifer) of Boone, Iowa; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alice, Cyndi and John; and her foster brother Jim Watson (Tara) of Tallassee, Alabama. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Blank Children's Hospital- Child Life Department in loving memory of Sheila.
