With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Parker Vorbrich of Des Moines, Iowa, born in West Branch, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Parker and Grace Parker; her husband William "Bill" A. Vorbrich, Jr.; her son Terry Vorbrich of Des Moines, IA; her grandchildren, Nile Vorbrich (Kendra), Sadie Vorbrich and Dane Vorbrich; her daughter Norma Vorbrich Boyd (Jim); her grandchildren, Jason Boyd and April Fogg (Manolo); her great grandchildren, James Ide and Anabelle Ide; her granddaughter Olivia Vorbrich; her brothers, Dan Parker (Jan) of Naples, FL and V. Roger Parker of Prescott, AZ; and her brother-in-law Lynn Vorbrich (Jody) of Urbandale, IA. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
