He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Caylor and Vineta Caylor (Decker); his daughter Hope; and his son-in-law Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Caylor; his daughter Tammy Yaw (Richard); his grandchildren, Cody Yaw (Kamryn) and Zoey Yaw (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Harper and Braxton; and his siblings, Gordon II (Rhonda), Carrolyn, Cynthia and Deborah (Donald).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
