Susan, born on February 12, 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulalia Morgan (Duwa) and Anthony "Tony" Morgan; and her siblings, Delores Koenighain (Gene), Rosemary Gerot and Gerald Morgan.
She is survived by: her son John Denton (Jenny); her grandsons, Cyd, Liam and Hayden Denton; her siblings, Wayne Morgan (Susan) of Lone Tree and Julie Miller (Dean) of Kalona; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Gerot of Iowa City and Joan Morgan of Lone Tree. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2926 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Speaks.
