She is survived by: her husband William Taber (Bill); her children, Alex Taber, Ben Taber of Urbandale, IA and Anastasia Taber (Dean Ensley); her grandchildren, Vivian of Alexandria, VA and William Ensley (Theo) of Alexandria, VA; her daughter-in-law Allison Taber of Dubuque, IA.; her siblings, Greg Hayes of Urbandale, IA, Robert Hayes of Allen, TX and Carol Mixdorf (Frank) of New Glarus, WI; and her sister-in-law Betsy Hayes of Allen, TX..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (4114 Allison Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be designated to the National Parks Foundation, Friends of PBS, or Iowa Public Radio.
