She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Cody and Jean Cody (Brown); and her husband Fernando Chia. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie McLaughlin (Mitch); her grandchildren, Aryanna Chia, Lydia Diaz, Mackson McLaughlin, Meliah McLaughlin and Montana McLaughlin; and her siblings, Elliott Jay Cody and Mellissa Ann Kays.
