In the sacred silence of farewell, Sylvia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sylvia's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend E. B. Moss and Mary Moss (Schnitzler); her husband Larry Ramey; her son Lloyd Ramey; and her siblings, Royster Moss and Marilyn Stricklin.
She is survived by: her adoptive daughter Cindi Stebbins (Ernie); her granddaughter Ashley McKenna (Steven); her great grandchildren, Malcomb and Mila; and her sister Patye Bridget (Dan). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Transformation Church of the Nazarene (1451 E 25th St, Des Moines, IA 50317). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Transformation Nazarene Church (1451 E 25th St, Des Moines, IA 50317).
