He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Z. Marks and Rose B. Marks; and his brothers, Joseph L. and Ralph H. Marks. He is survived by: his brother Robert J. Marks of Fort Myers, FL; and his children, Daniel Marks (Kerri) of Iowa City, IA, David J. Marks (Courtney) of Castle Rock, CO and Stacey McCormick (Michael) of Clive, IA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Glendale Masonic Cemetery Glendale Masonic Cemetery (4909 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
