She was predeceased by: her mother Charlene Mary Gourd (Young); and her sisters-in-law, Judith Gourd and Ann Gourd. She is survived by: her brothers, Stanley, John, Joseph, Patrick Gourd and Kane Nicholas; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Ball and Linda Gourd; her siblings' children, Kristina Gourd, Ashley Meza (Jose), Alyssa Murdock (Alex), Michael Gourd, Dominic Young (Audrey), Jose Meza (Sadie), Ciel Meza, Santiago Meza, Nova Fisher and Lucy Murdock; and her friend Polly Dunaway.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Urbandale Chapel (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
