Teresa Violett Obituary

Teresa L. Violett, 68, passed away on March 16, 2023, from pancreatic cancer.

Teresa was born December 4, 1954, in St. Charles, Iowa. She worked in housekeeping at various nursing homes and was also a home health aide. Teresa loved the Iowa State Fair. She also loved all types of music and going to outdoor concerts. Teresa enjoyed going to craft shows and festivals, especially the Covered Bridge Festival in Winterset. She had a lot of friends, young and old, and was always there to help, regardless of what time it was.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Hayley (TJ Blocher) Violett and Kelsey (Robert Wallace) Violett; like a son, Bobby Masson; grandchildren, Madison Todd, Caleb Barnes, Montanna Green, and Hayden Green; siblings, Beth Freeman and Tim Armstrong; many nieces, nephews and dear friends; and her beloved golden retriever, Della.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ridge Violett; mother, Carol Armstrong; and her father, Richard Houston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family or to the charity of the donor's choice in loving memory of Teresa.
