Terry Sims Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Terry Sims (Des Moines, Iowa), whose life came to an end on June 2, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sims and Alma Sims; and his wife Jaqueline "Jackie" Sims. He is survived by: his son Alex Oponski-Sims; his stepdaughters, Whitney Pike (Jacob) and Taylor Moore (Colten); his siblings, John Sims (Jeri) and Brenda Weeter (Bob); his nieces, Lena Sims and Kara Weeter; and his nephew Nathan Weeter (Bradie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery (1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
