He was predeceased by: his wife Nona Scott; his parents, George Scott and Daisy Scott; and his brother-in-law Larry White. He is survived by: his children, Deborah McDougal (Jim Zigler) and Mike Scott (Rhonda Miller); his grandsons, Dylan McDougal and Austin McDougal; his great grandchild Dustin McDougal; and his sister Barbara Scott White.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery (3601 E Court Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317).
