He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mackie and Esther Mackie; and his brothers, Donald and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mackie; his daughters, Lynee Hoover and Kristen; his son-in-law David Dearden; his granddaughter Samantha; and his grandson-in-law Brandon Minton.
