He was predeceased by: his parents, David Current and Rosalie Current; his wife Margaret; his sister Cathy Stephen; his son Robert Cox; and his stepson Casey Harrison.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cindy Gatch, Vickie Brooks (Daniel), Deborah McInroy and Michael Current (Melanie); his children, Heath Current (Janelle), Steven Current (Tanya) and Angie Wilder (Carlos); and his stepsons, Chris Harrison and Kirk Harrison. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
