Victor L. Van Horn Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 5, 2022, at the age of 98, Victor L. Van Horn of Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Leith and LaRue Van Horn (Lunsford); his siblings, Betty Abel (Van Horn), Wayne, Chuck and Larry Van Horn; and his son William "Bill" Van Horn.

He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Tow (William), Kay Halla (Mark) and Jean Scheurn (Steve); his daughter-in-law Patty Walsh; his grandchildren, Allison Morlan, Logan Halla, Spencer, Ben Tow, Erin Lamont and Nick Van Horn; his great grandchild Felicity Morlan; and his brother Lowell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriners Children's Hospital - Twin Cities.
