He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Salcedo and Evelyn Witchie Salcedo (Hine); his brother David Witchie; his son-in-law Lonnie Long; and his pet Hogan.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Sanford; his children, Halli Sanford-Ryan (Kent), Joseph Sanford (Suki) and Sandra Long; his grandchildren, Kirk Ryan (Katie), William Ryan (Hannah), Gabriel Sanford (Justine) and Paden Sanford; his great grandchildren, Henry Ryan, Julia Ryan, Abigail Ryan and Margaret Ryan; his brothers, Ed Witchie of Indiana, Michael Witchie of Illinois, Jeff Witchie of Mexico, Adam Witchie of Florida and Dan Salcedo of Illinois; and his stepbrother David Kirby.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League.
