Wanda Mae Hill Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Mae Hill of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 3, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Glasgow and Beatrice Glasgow (Sinnard); her sons, Michael and David; her husband Don; and her children-in-law, George Dickerson, Rick Calhoun and Barbara Hill.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Dickerson and Janet Calhoun; her daughter-in-law Julie; her grandchildren, Micah Saste (Sachin), Jason Hill (Katie), Charles Hill (Julie), Esther Velásquez (Gustavo) and Danielle Hill-Bailey (Darrick); her great grandchildren, Michael, Charles and Anika Saste; and her grandchildren, Heron, Lynx Hill, Lillian, Hendrik, Oliver Hill, Diego and Sofia Velásquez.

Memorial contributions may be made to Windsor Presbyterian Church, Alzheimer's Association, Iowa Chapter or Iowa Public Television.
