He is survived by: his children, Michele Nowak (Kevin) of Des Moines, Terry Curnes (Mary) of Elkhorn, Sharrie Steele (Mark) of Runnells and Carrie Curnes of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Cory Doss (Tracey), Terra Palmquist (Ryan), Tyler Curnes (Catie) and Ethan Curnes; and his great grandchildren, Vivienne, Gabriella, Everett Doss, Breckin, Piper and Rigby Palmquist.
