He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Diehl and Bernadine Diehl (Martin); his children, Joel Diehl (Melinda) of Oregon and Heather Hoffman (Buddy) of Mitchellville, IA; his brother David Diehl of California; and his wife Trudy. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and friends.
