He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry and Zelma Ruth McGilvrey (Robinson); his siblings, Clifford, Robert and Frances Mellick; and his grandson Danny.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Charlene Stephens; and his children, Steve McGilvrey (Kim Erfurth), Linda Cosner (John) and Sandy Williams (Rick). He is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
