He is survived by: his children, Stacy Viehmeyer (Eric) of Preston, Michael Banowetz (April Blumburg) of Calamus, Paula Banowetz (Tom Phillips) of Mitchellville and Susan Sawvell (Cory) of Monticello, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Damien Schmitt, Ava, Tyler, Travis, Wyatt Sawvell, Thomas and Brittany Phillips; his great grandchildren, Braylynn, Nova and JT; his close friend Jinger Robinson; his siblings, Judy Loussaert (Ray), Alice Banowetz, Dee Franzen (Darwin), Steve Banowetz (Ruth), Mary Kloewer (Jeff), Dick Banowetz (DeeDee), Deb Assenmacher (Dennis), Annette Love (Tim), Leon Banowetz (Molly), Dean Banowetz and Randy Banowetz (Stephanie); and his sisters-in-law, Karry Banowetz and Nancy Banowetz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Chub was often seen riding one of his many Harleys, frequently for charity rides, or cruising with friends in his yellow Mustang.
