She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Burrichter and Pauline Burrichter (Busch); her brother-in-law Delbert Hoffmann; her mother-in-law Marjorie Malcom; her brother-in-law Bill Malcom; and her great-nephew Owen Burrichter.

She is survived by : her wife Dr. Mary Malcom; her siblings, Marie Hoffmann of DeWitt, David Burrichter (Linda) of Lebanon, PA, Margaret Burrichter, Ruth Wilson (Harold "Junior") of DeWitt, Donald Burrichter (Linda) of Shellsburg and Allan Burrichter (Linda) of New Hampton; her father-in-law Scott Malcom of Athens; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Paulens (Malcom) of Athens, Margaret Wieland of Delafield, Wisc and Nancy Malcom of Statesboro.

Memorials may be made to First Congregational United Church of Christ, or Camp Bear Creek, formerly known as Camp Wyoming, in Wyoming, Iowa.

Steven R Busch wrote a sympathy message

“To all the family members we are in mourning. Judy and I send our deepest sympathy. Dorothy is a cousin of ours on the Busch side of the family. Dorothy and I attended Lost Nation Community School from 3rd through high school graduation. There are many fond memories of fun activities along the way during those years. The Busch reunion's that we celebrated together were delightful and a highlight. I thoroughly enjoyed her joyful chuckle and will miss her. We send our love. Steven and Judy Busch”
