He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Bert Landau and Doris Landau (Haines); his in-laws, Bill and Beulah Gant; his brother Steve Landau; and his brother-in-law Mike Gant.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Jennifer Rheingans (Stan) of Dubuque and Carrie Bacha (Tim) of Frankfort, Illinois; his grandchildren, Emersen Pang (Alex) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Colton Rheingans of Davenport, Iowa, Jackson Rheingans (Grace Riniker) of Dubuque, Iowa and Mackenzie Bacha of Frankfort, Illinois; his brothers, Dr. Greg Landau (Deb), Jim Landau, Bill Landau (Peggy) and Jeff Landau (Carrie); and his sisters-in-law, Sue Gant-Yackel (Ron), Jean Ellis (Dan) and Pat Gorton (Ralph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schultz Funeral Home (722 8th St, DeWitt, IA 52742). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
