It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy John of Dewitt, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvern John and Susan John (Homan); his brothers-in-law, Dan, Rowdy Weeks and Dennis Bair; and his mother-in-law Annabelle Weeks.
He is survived by: his wife Maria "MeMe" Weeks; his son Brandon John of DeWitt; his stepsons, Tom Vanderbilt (Sara) of Indianola and Gus Vanderbilt of DeWitt; his grandchildren, JT Vanderbilt (Lexi) of Clinton and Will Vanderbilt of DeWitt; his siblings, Cindy Ledvina (Lonnie) of DeWitt, Corrie Hamers (Kevin) of New Liberty, Carla Bair of Davenport, Mark John (Glenda) of Cedar Rapids and Bret John of Oxford Junction; his nieces and nephews, Maria Ash, Nick John, Chris John, Ty Ledvina, Tara Terhune, Amber Ledvina, Tiffany Murphy, Colton Bair, Kaitlynn, Kylie, Cameron Hamers, Amanda Earwood and Derrick Weeks; and his sisters-in-law, Lana Weeks of Davenport and Ann Weeks of Davenport.
