It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Hand of Dewitt, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harriet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harriet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lindeman and Selma Lindeman (Petersen); and her husband Harold D. Hand. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Bladel (Roger) of Highlands Ranch, Laura Gizicki (Thomas), Connie Crump of Bettendorf, Larry Hand (Dawn) of LeClaire and Mary Kay Wirth (Scott) of Maquoketa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Harriet's honor to any of these worthy organizations.
