She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brockmeyer and Clara Brockmeyer (Kuntz); her sisters, Wilma Hinners (Harmon) and Zeida Clark (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Carson and Claire DeJoode.
She is survived by: her children, Arnold DeJoode (Pat) of Cedar Falls, Linda Nelson (Jeff) of LeClaire, Karen DeJoode of Anamosa and Donna Hawkins (Ron) of St. Peters, Missouri; her grandchildren, Troy DeJoode (Michelle), Adam DeJoode, Matthew Hawkins (Jennipher) and Megan Barras (J. T.); and her great grandchildren, Chase, Jack, Jules DeJoode, Owen, Winora and Evalynn Hawkins.
