She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kruse and Betty Kruse (Petersen); her husband Robert Mundt; and her siblings, Alan Kruse (Janice) and Nancy Spain.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Nuehring (Corey) of Marion, Mike Peters (Jenny) of Grand Mound and Mark Peters of DeWitt; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Aschbrenner (Colin), Cole Nuehring, Claire Nuehring, Gemma Peters and Viola Peters; her siblings, Bill Kruse (Susan), Janet Ham (Jim) and Jolene Kruse; her brother-in-law Larry Spain; and her stepsons, Scott Mundt (Lonnie) of Apple Valley and Chad Mundt of Greenville. She is also survived by children; nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grace Church Camp and Camp Courageous.
