Terry Hofer Obituary

We bid farewell to Terry Hofer of Dewitt, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 12, 2026 at the age of 84. Terry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Terry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Terry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hofer and Alice Mae Hofer (Nielsen); and his sister Shirley Hofer. He is survived by: his children, Mark (Bernadette Hofer) of Concord and Wendy (Jeff Radcliff) of DeWitt; his grandson Mitch Hofer of Concord, California; his brother Ron; and his sister-in-law Alice Hofer of Camanche. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
