He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Everett and Alice Irene Fleagle (Briggs); his siblings, Frank and Iona; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Fleagle and Sue Fleagle.
He is survived by : his brother Norman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family, to be used for a scholarship for the advancement of science education that will be established in Vern's name.
