He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Edwards and Dolores Edwards (Donahue); his brother Jim; his brother-in-law Erle Etzel; his in-laws, Leo, Rosalie Trimble, Rosie Biel (Louie) and Dennis Schrader; and his niece Stephanie Shumaker.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Trimble of Patrick's Catholic Church Villa Nova; his children, Erica Voss (Darin), Nathan and Daniel; his grandchildren, Emmit, Miles, Evy and Michael; his sisters, Jeanne Etzel, Kathy Barber and Mary Edwards; and his in-laws, Rita Schafer (Jim), Mary Kay Shumaker (Don), Maureen Schrader, Lee Trimble (Linda), Beth Burke (Gary), Becky Burke (Tom), Peggy Carstensen (Joel), Loren Trimble (Anne), Garry Trimble (Gayle) and Joe Trimble (Rusti). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
