He was predeceased by: his parents, Reese Marks and Ida Marks (Draman); his siblings, Betty Dahl and Joe Marks; his mother-in-law Lila McMenamin; his siblings-in-law, Dick McMenamin, Jerry Pat McMenamin, Betty and Hoss Hein; and his niece Kristi Hein.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Jeff Marks (Cheryl), Pat Marks (Stephanie) and Julie Doud (Marty); his grandson Zach Marks (Emily); his great grandchildren, Addison and Callan; his grandchild Jordan Marks (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Layla, Hayden and Josie; his grandchildren, Avery Marks and Cameron Marks (Chloe); his great grandchildren, Crew and Isla; his grandchild Logan Marks (Abby); his great grandchildren, Barrett and Maverick; his grandchildren, Meredith Marks and Allison Grossnickle (Devin); his great grandchild Gable; his grandson Nick Doud (Rielly); and his great grandchild Jordi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dexter United Methodist Church (707 Warren St, Dexter, IA 50070). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
