Adeline Larsen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adeline Larsen of Dike, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adeline Larsen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Etta Bruns and Walbert Bruns; her husband Hans Larsen, Jr.; and her sisters, Rosella Bruns and Lillian Dittmar (Don).
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Richardson (Dan) of Highland and Bret Larsen (Dena) of Dike; her grandchildren, Kylie Richardson, Dylan Larsen, Drew Larsen and Dane Richardson; and her brother Raymond Bruns of Britt. She is also survived by six nephews and one niece.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fredsville Lutheran Church (32756 150th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MPN Research Foundation, PO Box 2690, Carol Stream, IL 60132-2690, an organization dedicated to research for finding new treatments and eventually, a cure for polycythemia vera which Adeline had been diagnosed and suffered with for years.
