She was predeceased by : her father Laurence Johns; and her brother-in-law Todd Prostine. She is survived by : her mother Frieda Johns (Heise) of Cedar Falls; her former life partner Robert Duffy; her son Sean Duffy of Dike; and her siblings, Candice Winston (Al), Keith Johns (Rene) of Cedar Falls, Craig Johns (Karen) of Cedar Falls and Gayle Prostine of Grundy Center. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
