He was predeceased by : his parents, Jake Kruger and Lillian Kruger (Finger); his wife Holly Kruger (Harris); his sons, Kurt Kruger and Phil Kruger; and his daughter-in-law Jodi Kruger (Anderson).

He is survived by : his siblings, Gerald Kruger (Opal) and Linda Oberle (John); his daughters, Kimberly Kruger, Stacy Kruger and Heidi Kruger; and his grandchildren, Jessie Marie, Kody Kruger (Vanessa), Klayton Kruger (Lauren) and Django Vermeulen Kruger. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He donated generously to many projects in Dike and the surrounding communities, including helping fund the trails he loved to run and ride.
