He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Willms and Virginia Willms (Hansen). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bernhardt; his children, Kevin Willms (Laura) of Waverly, IA and Jennifer Pederson (Drew) of Elkridge, MD.; his grandchildren, Kate, Matthew, Caroline, Aden and Everly; his sister Cherri Hills (Alan) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Duffy of Cedar Rapids, Mary Bernhardt of Waterloo and Steve Bernhardt (Rhonda) of Shellsburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
