She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wegener and Florence Wegener (Meyer); her husband Dexter Gibson; her siblings, Virgil Wegener (Jean) and Phyllis Paulsen (Howard); her nephew Mark Wegener; and her great grandchild Katelyn Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Gibson (Vickie French) of Henderson, KY, Michele Gibson of Hiawatha, IA, Doug Gibson (Angela) of Eagan, MN and Kurt Gibson (Becky) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Josh (Elizabeth), Katy, Elizabeth (Graham Rico-Johnson), Zach, Lauren and Grant; her great grandchild Landon; her niece Kay Wegener (Adrian); and her nephews, Tom Wegener (Janie) and Milo Paulsen (Peg).
