Herbert E. Meyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2022, at the age of 92, Herbert E. Meyer of Dixon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Meyer and Bertha Meyer (Laasch); his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Arnie, Bill, Tuffy, Milton Meyer, Ethel Moeller, June Sievers and Betty Mayerhofer.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Meyer (Regina) of Grand Mound, Sandy Duncan (Roger) of Milan, Lynn Urwin of Bettendorf and Dean Meyer (Julie) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bradley (Bill), Bart Duncan (Amber), Taylor Urwin, Jared Urwin and Sarah Arians (Josh); his brothers, Delmar "Snowball" Meyer (Carol) and LaVerne Meyer (Shirley); and his niece Marci Zogg. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be given to Wheatland Manor, St. Croix Hospice or the Dixon Fire Department.
