With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry D. McBride of Donahue, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie McBride and Sophronia McBride (Slaby); his wife Sue; and his brothers, Jerry and John McBride.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Claeys-Hemphill; his son-in-law Mark Hemphill of Delmar, Iowa; his son Patrick McBride of Donahue; his grandchildren, Ryan Claeys, Allison Caron (Cody), Brandon McBride (Amber), Kathy Regnier (Ben), David Hemphill, Mark Alan Hemphill (Kayla), Heather Anderson (Cyrus), Dustin Stahl and Brian Stillman; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Regnier, Asher Regnier, Gabriel Regnier, Maverick Claeys, McKenna Claeys, Phoebe Jo Caron and Chloe McBride.
