She is survived by: her children, Alan Ward of Bonaparte, Dennis Ward of Alabama and Linda Green of Bonaparte; and her grandchildren, Andy Ward (Jackie), Wyatt Ward (Wendy), Ian Ward (Julie), Emily Ward-Thal (Mike), Jake Ward (Christy), Zach Kreiss (Anna), Colby Kreiss (Katie), Nathan Losey (Hannah) and Trae Green. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her memory for Donnellson Fire and Rescue.
