With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dewey R. McLerran of Donnellson, Iowa, whose life came to an end on April 16, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle McLerran and Harper; his wife Lois E. Hahn; and his siblings, Inez Corbin, Ivan McLerran, Ira McLerran, Clester McLerran and Carolena Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Doyle (Pat) of Donnellson, Iowa, Scott McLerran of Stuart and Michael McLerran (Mary) of New London, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Andy McLerran, Ryan McLerran, Zachary Doyle (Chance Morgan) and Evan Doyle (Kenzie Northup). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donnellson Learning Center, Lee County Fairgrounds (1100 N Main St, Donnellson, IA 52625).
A memorial has been established in his memory for PAW Animal Shelter in honor of his dog "Princess".
