He is survived by: his children, Carol Hogan (Rob) of Donnellson and Tom Richers (Michelle) of Marion; his grandchildren, Brian Richers (Rachel), Emily VanArkel (Adam), Nathan Miner (Lauren McKeen), Nicole Richers (Josh Overturf) and Sara Stancliffe (Ethan); his stepgrandchildren, Dylan (Ashtyn), Derek and Drake Hogan (Savanna); his great grandchildren, Owen and Eian; and his siblings, Jim Richers (Pat) of Wever, Darrell Richers (Jan) of Ft. Madison, Mark Richers (Phyl) of Denmark, Marlene Keester (Larry) of Ft. Madison and Mary Lou Anderson (Dwight) of Davenport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
