She is survived by: her children, Penny Walter (Larry) of Shawnee, Rus Steffensmeier (Bev) of Houghton, Rhonda Peseau of Arlington and Ritch Steffensmeier (Amy) of Prairie Village, Kansas; her grandchildren, Kurt Steffensmeier (Hallie), Bobbi Kruse (Ryan), Karla Williams (Lynn), Austin Walter (Tiffany), Russell Walter, Allison Walter, Hannah Glazunov (Ilya), Will Peseau, Jade Johnson (Daniel), Halle Steffensmeier and Breck Steffensmeier; and her sister Jane Denning. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (105 Main St, Donnellson, IA 52631).
