Esther Lange Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Lange of Doon, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Teunis Jr. Fluit and Elizabeth Fluit (Kleyn); her husband Daniel Lange; her siblings, Clazina Burggraaf (Harvey), John Fluit, Bernard Johnson and Robert Minor; her parents-in-law, Jack and Colleen Lange; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Lange and Cheryl Buchite (Neal).
She is survived by: her daughter Clazina Tankersley; her grandchildren, Kalel, Kato and Klazina; her son Norman Lange (Nici); her grandchildren, Alexis, Jack, Evelyn and Elias; her son Timothy Lange (Morgan); her grandchildren, Carlee, Chase and Colten; her sons, David Lange (Hope) and William Lange; her siblings, Teunis Fluit (Jean), Ella Minor, Jenny Johnson, William Fluit (LaRae) and Alice Fluit; and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Lange, John Lange (Kathy), Jim Lange (Kelly) and Dave Lange (Krista). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Rock Valley (1704 15th St, Rock Valley, IA 51247). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation (1610 Main Street, Rock Valley, IA 51247).
