She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gehrke and Katherine Gehrke; her husband William Reed; and her siblings, Esther, Wallace, Louis, Everett, Cleo and Florence.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sally and Nancy; and her grandchildren, John, Shannon and Kelsey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Over the course of 40 years she made and donated countless quilts to local charitable agencies.
