He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Garrett and Patricia Garrett (McCoid); his grandson Colin Garrett; and his brother-in-law Walt Wright. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Garrett; his children, Kelly Garrett (Amber) of Arion, Molly (Cory Reisz) of Denison and Jody (Justin Gatewood) of Ames, Iowa; his grandchildren, Connor Garrett (Erin), Cael Garrett (Gesell Cabrera), Emma Reisz (Gunner Schmitz), Owen Reisz, Eryn Reisz, Parker Gatewood and Paige Gatewood; his great grandchild Arlo Garrett; his siblings, Kathleen Wright, Kevin Garrett (Deb) and Connie Garrett; and his friend Kaitlin Wille. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
